Hola! My name is Anakaren Ibarra-Dumovich and I am a Chef in Kansas City. Cooking has been such a huge part of my life and it has been at the center of all my favorite memories. I grew up in a Mexican family with lots of strong women around me who constantly cooked and took great joy in making others feel welcomed. It was only natural that the warmth and comfort I felt growing up was something I too wanted others to feel.

An ideal night for me is having the ones I love around a big table outside. Having nothing but delicious plates filled with homemade food and great drinks. Food brings people together, there's nothing else like it. It's where we spend time with the ones we love while sharing stories and making memories. Truly one of the things that makes me the happiest.
